Pokemon X and Y: Froakieby *LightningRod728

With the recent announcement of the next generation of Pokemon, known as versions X and Y, I wanted to draw my favorite of the new starters.

Of them all, Froakie seems to be everybody's least favorite but not in my eyes. I've always been fond of the water starters every generation and Froakie is no exception. I'll admit, I'd rather have something like a baby shark instead but this little guy will do just fine and he's gonna be all mine October 2013!

This guy is the least favorite? Come on! It's just his first form, I think he'll look awesome and be a great starter when he is fuly evolved.

Besides, I love the three X/Y starters equally

That is correct, sir. Just gotta wait till it evolves. Like Oshawott was probably the least favorite last generation also but it had a kick-ass final evolution. At least, in my opinion it did.

I think they look very good. They don't seem to be dragon-like in appearance so for once, they may not rely on Dragon Pokemon for legendaries this time. Yveltal sounds like "evil" so I'm guessing it may represent evil and Xerneas represent good as it looks like it's good-natured in appearance, especially with the rainbow antlers. They both have interesting designs too. Especially Yveltal.

the problem is that we don't know too much things bout them:
-What are there types?
-What are there abilites?
-What represent?

But so far, I agree they have a cool design, but I go more to Xerneas.

For their types, I'm gonna guess Yveltal is Dark/Flying and Xerneas is Steel/Psychic. I'm just taking educated guesses. I'm not sure about abilities though. And since the versions are called X and Y, I think they're using those letters to represent the axises since it's gonna be in a 3D environment on the 3DS. X represents horizontal and Y represents vertical. Which would make sense since Xerneas resides on the ground (horizontal) and Yveltal resides in the sky (vertical).
