Part 2: Negative Impressions

The Minustring wizard, Duno Sabiz, just reawakened his sleeping beast which destroyed the Tower of Positivity in the Plussemby's land. As a result, the tribe fears this cataclysm will have literal negative effects on their society. Meanwhile, what used to be a vacation to Europe for Rodolfo and his friends was now a trip to this strange new land. Rodolfo and his friends were scattered and their precise locations were unknown. Except Rodolfo, who has stumbled into the Plussembly village. What more could happen?

Rod was starting to come to. He was still a little sore from the drop and also dizzy which was making his vision blurry.
"He's waking up," someone said. That person then asked, "Can you hear me?"
When Rod awoke he saw a Plussembling looking over him. He appeared to be a cleric or a doctor.
"What?" Rod muttered as he got up.
"The next time you go sky-diving, be sure to take a parachute," said the doctor.
"Where am I?" Rod asked.
The Plussemblings that found him were there too.
"Hey dude, you're awake."
"That was a wicked fall you took."
Rod was confused.
"Who are you?" he asked suspiciously.
"They found you and gave me a Buzzin', cousin. Then brought you here for recovery. I've been examining you while you slept. Thankfully, you're not too banged up," said the doctor.
"But where am I? And where are my friends?" Rod asked still not understanding the whole situation.
"Yo chillax, man."
"The fact is that you fell out of the sky. Splat!"
"Fell out of the sky?" Rod asked standing up, still a little sore.
"Guessing you're not from here, are ya?" the doctor asked.
"But where is this here?" Rod asked.
The Plussemblings whispered to each other.
"He's obviously not from around here."
"Either that or he's some kind of alien."
"Damn. I always thought aliens were slimy and bug-eyed."
"Como se dice?" Rod asked.
"See? He's even speaking alien."
"That's what's up."

Vireo summoned the villagers to inform them of the disaster caused by the creature they witnessed.
"My peeps, I have something to tell you all. Try not to freak out," he announced.
The Plussembly didn't know what to expect from their elder.
"We're all gonna die man!"
"It's game over dude!"
"Goodbye cruel world!"
"I said try not to freak out. Now hear me out. The monster you saw attacking the Tower of Positivity was brought here by a Minustring. As you all know, the Minustry are our homies for life but this was a rogue a Minustring," said Vireo.
The Plussemblings that found Rod could hEar Vireo and went to listen. Rod was with them.
"Who's the old guy?" Rod asked.
"That's our leader, Vireo."
"He's like some kind of wise person or something."
Vireo resumed,
"Osiris says that the Minustry as a whole isn't responsible for this. But someone of their kind is. The wicked wizard, Duno Sabiz. Once shunned by his own people for his intentions, he's brought his monster back to life. The monster attacked the Tower of Positivity and extinguished the beacon that shimmers bright and warm over our half of the Polarity Zone."
"Polarity Zone?" Rod asked.
"Shush," one of the Plussemblings told him.
"The beacon is out. That could only mean one thing. The treasure housed within the tower is missing. The Certus is lost," said Vireo.
This caused the whole crowd to panic frantically. Vireo tried to calm them by telling them,
"Chill, chill. Don't lose your cool over it. I know it sucks and the Minustry won't even help us during this crisis. But we'll manage somehow. The Certus is lost somewhere in our land. As long as it's lost, the beacon will remain unlit, and all of positivity will fade, sorely unbalancing polarity as we know it. Negativity will overtake the whole Polarity Zone unless the Certus is recovered and returned back to the beacon."
Everyone in the villager understood what Vireo was saying very well. Everyone but Rod, who still had no clue what was going on. None of this made any sense to him. One minute he was visiting Adam and the next minute he's somehow in this village struck with anxiety.
"What is this, a dream?" Rod wondered.
Vireo continued,
"The Plussembly will survive somehow. I will see to it that it does. But the only way we will is if the Certus is returned to the beacon. Once the beacon's lit again, positivity will grace our land once more. HoWever, there's no telling where the Certus could be right now. We will have to search every inch of our half of the Polarity Zone to locate it. If there are any volunteers who would like to help their family, friends, and race then please visit my hut. With your help, we can assure ourselves that the Certus will be found, the beacon will shine again, and the Plussembly will survive."
Of course, there was another matter to be concerned about besides the disappearance of their treasure.
"As for Duno Sabiz... he will be dealt with at a later time. Right now our focus is to retrieve the Certus. Then we can hope the Minustry will condemn him for what he's done. In the mean time, if there are any volunteers, please visit my hut. That is all," said Vireo.
Vireo returned to his hut and the villagers disbanded. Rod still could not make out what was going on.
"Alright, someone just wake me up right now so I can get back to reality," he said.
"What's up?"
"I have no idea what that was all about," said Rod.
"Well you can always speak with Vireo in person. He'll give you the buzz, cuz."
Rod did not think that any of this was his business. In fact, what he really should be doing is finding out where his friends were. But how if he doesn't even know where he was?
"Well maybe that viejo can tell me how to get out of here," Rod thought.
"Come on, we'll take you to him."
The Plussemblings took Rod to visit Vireo. Hopefully Rod will discover some Answers from their leader. If he's as wise as his people say he is.

The wizard, Duno Sabiz, the one responsible for this disaster, drew his sword from it's helm and examined it.
"The Minustry states I'm wrong because I think the same beliefs as my ancestors. The ones who opposed the Plussembly during the fued many centuries ago. When the Minustry and Plussembly were not allied quite yet. The beliefs that state the Plussembly is an inferior, overpopulated race that would eventually overrun the entire Polarity Zone leaving the Minustry nothing. Like locusts in a field. Yet, despite their differences, both races are united today. My people have lost their sense of dignity. How pathetic of them to form agReements with the Plussemblings. And now it appears that I am the only one who still follows the ancient beliefs of the past Minustry. And they shun me for it."
There was one Plussembling on his knees and restrained by shackles.
"We had a truce, man," he said.
Duno looked down at the Plussembling hostage with murder in his eyes.
"I know nothing of this truce as I don't follow my tribe today. These agreements between your culture and my culture are irrelevant to me," he stated.
"The Plussembly and the Minustry fued is over. It was through a long time ago!"
"Yes. But luckily I have not grown as soft and forgiving as my people today. Despite what my people think of yours today, you're still nothing but an epidemic that will spread and lead to the Minustry's extinction."
Duno ran his finger across his sword's blade to check the sharpness.
"You're a monster! You've destroyed our tower! Extinguished our beacon! You plan to throw the Polarity Zone into tormoil!" the Plussembling argued.
"Wrong. I plan to fix it!" Duno shouted as he struck down the Plussembling with his sword right down the center.
Thankfully this was not seen onscreen. Duno was truly a cruel man not like the rest of the Minustry. The Minustry might have the urge to kill the Plussembly centuries ago but today they would never do such a horrible thing. Except Duno. It was no wonder even his own race disliked him.
"Leeds," Duno instructed his wingEd beast.
The beast, named Leeds, took the body of the Plussembling to dispose of. Possibly feast on.
"That was one. Many more will follow. With positivity fading, the Plussembly won't have long to live," Duno thought.

Several brave Plussemblings willing to save Their kind gathered at Vireo's hut. In this moment of crisis, they knew what they had to do.
"I am grateful and thank you all. Not just me but the Plussembly as a whole as well. Knowing you're willing to aid us during this time," said Vireo.
The Plussemblings brought Rod into the hut.
"Happy to know you have our back. Thanks for the hook up. Now pay attention. The Certus could have landed anywhere in our land so you'll have to search far and wide for it. There's a very slim chance of any one of you finding it but in the case that you do, I have to warn you. Do not touch it," said Vireo.
Rod turned to the Plussemblings who brought him.
"When can I ask him?" Rod asked.
"Wait for it."
Vireo had with him, some clear, orb-shaped containers. He opened one up and showed it to the volunteers.
"According to tales passed down from generation to generation, making physical contact with the Certus would be unwise. The Certus's power is too extraordinary to be held by hand. Your safest bet would be to contain it within these units. If you touch it... it may kill you," Vireo warned.
Each volunteer recieved their own containment unit.
"It's much too dangerous to go at this Hour. It's best to sleep and at the crack of dawn, meet back here. We'll start our expedition once that is order. For now, sleep well," Vireo advised.
Every Plussembling took their units and left to return to their homes to get ready for their journey tomorrow. All but Rod and the Plussemblings that brought him there left. Vireo turned to them.
"What the hell are you doing standing around here? I said for you to bounce," Vireo told them.
"Sorry gramps, but we're not here to volunteer."
"Then you've got no business with me. Get!" Vireo ordered.
That was until he saw Rod. He paused and looked at him strangely for a minute.
"See something you like?" Rod asked the old man.
"Judging by your duds, I'd guess you're not from here. Are you with the Minustry? No. You couldn't be. You're not wearing their minus emblem," said Vireo.
"Well you're right that I'm not from here. But I..." Rod tried to say until Vireo interrupted.
"Then you don't belong here. Get him out of here," Vireo demanded the Plussemblings.
"But pops, he's lost."
"We found him."
"He doesn't belong here. Just as a turkey doesn't belong seated at a dinner table. Send him away!" said Vireo.
Rod took serious offense to that remark.
"Hey! Did he just-? He called me a turkey! Who do you think you are, viejo?" Rod resented.
"Vireo. Village elder, highest authority of the Plussembly. Most important figure in this half of the Polarity Zone," Vireo declared.
Rod withdrew his arguement when hE discovered this man was far superior to anyone else in this land. Like a leader or ruler. And talking to him in a negative way would be very disrespectful.
"Forgive me," said Rod.
"You're excused. For real. Get out of here. We're in the middle of a calamity here," said Vireo.
"I heard. But even if I left I wouldn't know how to get back home," said Rod.
The Plussemblings added,
"He fell out of the sky."
"Pretty weird, huh?"
Vireo replied in disbelief,
"Crap! Crapola! Bullsh-!"
Rod interrupted, right on time at that,
"Look sir. I really have no idea how I got here. I was with my friends on a little road trip taking a tour around my friend's country but somehow ended up here. Just dropped out of the sky. I still ache from that."
Vireo thought it over.
"Is it true what you say?" he asked.
"These guys say they found me," Rod insisted.
The Plussemblings nodded to confirm. Vireo was a little puzzled.
"Where did you come from?" Vireo asked Rod.
"Well I was in the United Kingdom a minute ago," said Rod.
"Where's that?"
"It's a countrY somewhere in a certain continent. Europe, it's called."
"A continent where?"
"Well it's kind of to the right of my home continent. But I wouldn't be able to pinpoint their exact locations on Earth."
"Earth?"
"It's the planet I live on."
Now Vireo was more confused than ever. Not just him but the Plussemblings too.
"Did he say the planet he lives on?"
"So he is an alien!"
"One minute," said Vireo as he went to his book shelves.
He grabbed a book and skimmed the pages to locate something. He managed to find it quickly.
"I thought so," he said.
He set the book on the table and showed it. It seemed to be Two seperate maps, one on each page. There was a boundary seperating both.
"This is a map of the Polarity Zone. Where we are now. This is the map of your world, Earth. Both of our worlds are neighboring dimensions seperated by a barrier inaccessible to either of us. But somehow you crossed that barrier and wound up on our turf," Vireo explained.
The Plussemblings were in awe.
"Weird."
"Wicked."
"Killer."
"What the hell are you talking about a barrier?" Rod questioned.
"That's a good question," said Vireo.
He put the book back and took another. This one had a plus sign on the cover.
"I think I might know the answer to that too," Vireo thought.
He opened the book to an image of the object that was once housed in the Tower of Positivity. The orange, jagged-edged stone with a plus sign inside of it.
"This is the Certus. An object of unlimited energy that keeps the order of polarity in the Polarity Zone. To be precise, it keeps the positive energy balanced here. It's what allows us, the Plussembly, to sUrvive. It remains in the Tower of Positivity, lighting the beacon that shines across our part of this world. Due to it's infinite amount of energy, it shines indefinitely ever since the beginning of time," said Vireo.
Rod was pretty fascinated but not really up to learning any history lessons right now.
"That's interesting and all, viejo. But how is that related to how I got here?" Rod asked.
"Keep your pants on, boy. For all of our sakes," said Vireo.
He resumed,
"There are two different energies in the Polarity Zone. Positive and negative. The Plussembly lives off of positive energy while our opposite race, the Minustry, lives off the negative energy. The Certus supplies an even amount of positive energy to keep the order of polarity balanced. Up until now."
"You mean that guy you were talking about to the village?" Rod guessed.
"I believe a story is in order," said Vireo.
"Oh great. More history," Rod snidely groaned.

Flashback

"When the Polarity Zone came in to existance, since the beginning of time, two races were born. The Plussembly and the Minustry. Both of these races opposed each other, seeing the other as selfish, greedy atrocities who will overcome the opposite race and overtake the entire Polarity Zone, leaving nothing for the other race. For centuries, these two races have fueded. Wars were waged, battles were fought, but both races were evenly matched. But one day, both races realized just how important the other race was. As I've stated before, even amounts of positive and negative energies are required to keep the Polarity Zone in order. As the wars went on, both of these energies clashed, either exceeding or fading their right amount. If too much of one energy overpowered the other, the Polarity Zone could cease to be. An entire world of pure positive or puRe negative energy would result in what both races believed would be the end of our world. That was when the Plussembly and the Minustry realized that they're both necessary for the Polarity Zone to survive as both of their energies are what keep it living. When they realized this, it was agreed that both races would cease their fueding. My ancestor and the ancestor of Osiris, highest authority of the Minustry today, had reached an agreement and the fued was over. The essence of these positive and negative energies were provided by ancient, powerful objects that came into existance at the same time the Polarity Zone did. The Certus providing positive energy. Since then, both races have lived together in harmony and the Polarity Zone continues to live on. The hatchet was buried. However, there is still one who holds a grudge against the opposite race. The wizard, Duno Sabiz of the Minustry, whose ancenstors fought the Plussembly in the wars of ancient times. Every generation of Duno's family passed down their beliefs they still retained: that the Plussembly were scum. Those beliefs were passed onto Duno today. Like his ancestors, he still opposes the Plussembly and believes the Polarity Zone is strictly for the Minustry. His ancestors were magicians who aided those in the wars. Duno inheritted this magic and for years has schemed to make the Polarity Zone a suitable world for his race. However, since both races are at peace, the Minustry forbids him of causing any harm to the Plussembly. Despite this, Duno continued his wicked purpose. Every 40 years, he awakens a slumbering, horrifying monster to wreak havoc on the Plussembly's land. This creature only stays alive for five days before returning to hibernation for another 40 years. For his actions, the Minustry shunned him, completely isolating him from his own kind. But Duno didn't stop. He still continued to change the Polarity Zone in favor of the Minustry. And it seems today, another 40 years have passed. With the creature reawakened, he unleashed it upon our source of power, the Tower of Positivity. That's where the Certus was kept until the tower's destruction. And now the Certus is lost somewhere in our land which was likely Duno's intention. As long as the Certus remains lost, the Plussembly will die and negative energy will overtake the Polarity Zone."

End flashback

Rod was clapping with a super dry sarcastic attitude.
"Cool story, bro. That would make a great movie," he remarked.
"Were you even paying attentioN, boy?" Vireo snapped.
"Of course I was. For any explanation of how I ended up here. What chapter does it say that?" Rod asked.
"Oh, a bit of an attitude. I don't like it," said Vireo.
The Plussemblings leaned over to Rod.
"Hey man, you might wanna show some respect to this guy."
"He might be older than the stone age but he knows a lot because he's lived so long."
"I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or an insult," said Vireo having overheard them.
"Look, I'm really sorry for the situation you're in. But I would really like to know what that has to do with my presence here," said Rod.
Vireo skimmed through the book for more information.
"I might have a theory about that," he thought.
He located more details that were this time about the removal of the Certus.
"Here. As mentioned before, should polarity become unbalanced, the whole Polarity Zone will collapse. Depending on what energy overpowers this world, the Polarity Zone will fall into either one of two neighboring worlds," Vireo read.
He showed the map of both the Polarity Zone and the Earth.
"Your world is Earth. It exists in another dimension directly across the positive end of the Polarity Zone. The Certus is gone so negative energy is spreading in our world. This excessive amount of negative energy is causing our world to lean into your world," Vireo explained.
"So that's probably how I got here?" Rod asked.
Vireo set a scale onto the table. Each end of the scale was labeled witH a plus and minus sign.
"I'll give you an example," said Vireo.
He placed an even amount of two different colored marbles on both ends. Orange ones on the positive end and purple ones on the negative end.
"This scale represents the Polarity Zone. This end represents positive energy and the other represents negative energy. This is how the Polarity Zone was before. Balanced. But now the Certus is gone and with it, so is positive energy."
He removed all the orange marbles from the positive end.
"And now negative energy is steadily spreading across the whole zone. Like this."
Vireo placed an even amount of purple marbles on the positive end.
"Of course, it's not balanced. The negative energy is growing greater every second."
He demonstrated this by placing many more purple marbles on the positive end, lowering that end to show how unbalanced the Polarity Zone was becoming.
"This end, the positive end, Plussembly territory, is literally leaning into your world. Pushing through the barrier that seperates our worlds and punching a hole through it. You must've entered this hole which would explain how you wOund up here. You've crossed over into our world."
Now it was making sense to Rod. Especially clear with the visual demonstration Vireo gave.
"So that explains everything. When the Certus was removed, the excessive negative energy reached your land and caused it to break through into my world. Then that means my friends must be here too. They were with me," Rod figured.
"Now that that's all clear it's time for you to go," said Vireo.
"I would if I could. But where exactly am I supposed to find this opening to get back home? I don't even remember where we were when we separated," said Rod.
"Well boy, you're on your own for that. I can't help you. We're too busy to even help you when we need help ourselves," said Vireo.
"I wish I could help you with this," Rod wished.
Vireo couldn't help but laugh.
"Why are you laughing?" Rod asked.
"Sorry but this is a job that separates the boys from the men. The Plussembly knows the Polarity Zone inside and out. You? You're just a tourist. You wouldn't even know where to start," said Vireo.
"So?"
"So, why don't you just go and find your way back home and leave this matter to the Plussembly. Besides, what could you possibly do to help?"
Rod twisted his hand to make his hammer appear but it didn't.
"What the hell?" he said.
He then tried holding out his hand to Summon it to him. The hammer came flying from where it landed in the village right through the hut and into Rod's hand. The Plussemblings were impressed but Vireo wasn't happy about the hole in the wall.
"Hey! What's up with that? Coming up in here wrecking my home like it's yours! What's wrong with you?" Vireo bickered.
"This hammer was a gift given to me because the owner saw potential in me. He knew there was something inside of me that he admired and blessed me with this weapon and his powers. As such, I'm the only one he trusts to possess them. I used them to save my world and I can use them to save yours," Rod claimed.
The Plussemblings were looking at the hammer in Rod's hand.
"Dude, look at the craftsmanship."
"That looks heavy. But he's holding it like it's nothing."
"A konk from that's gotta hurt."
However, Vireo was still not impressed.
"So you made it fly through the wall. So what? You call that power?" he questioned.
"I haven't even given you a demonstration yet," said Rod.
"Alright, hot shot. Show us. Show us all, oh great one who fell from heaven to save us in our time of need," Vireo pestered.
And so Rod got ready to put on a display of the powers Nerkoth gifTed him to prove himself.
"Alright. But stand back. This... other guy is a little rough. He's pretty destructive. So don't blame me if he breaks you. I've only gotten to do this once and have been a little nervous to use it again. Now here it goes."
Rod focused his witt on the the hammer in his hand to call forth Nerkoth's enchanted powers of the Worthy. He focused hard to summon these powers, as much as he knows that in that state, he can be pretty unpredictable. But it was only for a demonstration. There was a long pause as the Plussemblings watched and waited for Rod to transform into the Worthy but nothing was happening.
"Today!" Vireo yelled.
Vireo's shout caused Rod to lose focus and he tried again. It was another long pause with no result. Rod couldn't transform.
"What's going on?" he asked himself.
"Exactly what I've been wondering this whole time," said Vireo.
One of the Plussemblings twirled his finger beside his ear thinking Rod was a little nutty.
"The Worthy's powers aren't activating!" Rod gasped in horror.
"Worthy? Exactly what's so worthy about you?" Vireo questioned.
"I don't get it!" said Rod.
"And I don't want it. I didn't expect anything special to happen anyway even If you were speaking the truth," said Vireo.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean even if you did have some kind mad powers you probably wouldn't be able to use them anyway. Weren't you listening? The Polarity Zone's unbalanced and because of it, any powers you have, if any at all, are negated. Pun absolutely intended."
"So you're saying the uneven amount of positive and negative energy is preventing me from doing anything?"
"Oh, you were paying attention. Good for you, boy."
Now Rod was at a loss. Because of the uneven atmosphere in this other world, his Worthy powers are nullified. Literally negated.
"But that can't be true!" Rod argued.
"Damn right it's true. And you ain't the savior we're looking for. Some hero," Vireo scoffed.
And his words seemed to have hurt Rod's pride there. And he wasn't going to let the old man get away with that. Not after all Rod has proven himself capable of in the past.
"Do you know who I am? Where I'm from many have tried to stop me. None have succeeded. No foe has overcome me. No foe can overcome me. There's nothing I have to fear. Because I never lose!" Rod declared.
However, Vireo was still not at all impressed. In fact, he couldn't care any less right now.
"Listen boy. You wanted to know how you got here and I told you. Now why don't you just leave and find your way back home? We've got problems and don't have any time for any of your ridiculous, meaningless nonsense," said Vireo.
"Nonsense?" Rod responded very offended.
"We don't ask for any tomfoolery from you. In this moment of peril we ask for a miracle," Vireo stated.
But Rod replied very sternly,
"I am your miracle."
Vireo and Rod glared at each other sourly. CLearly Rod was not getting through to Vireo. Vireo required real help to save his people but did not see the potential Nerkoth saw in Rod. Through Vireo's point-of-view, Rod was nothing more than a fool with an overactive imagination.
"I will tell you this one more time. Leave our village and go back where you came from. At least your world is safe. Meanwhile, my people will do what they can to save themselves because it's obvious we can't expect the Minustry to help us this time. And it's most certainly obvious that you have nothing to contribute. You have no power here. If you even have any powers in the first place. So you're useless!"
Rod just continued looking at the old man in repulse. As much as he had damaged Rod's pride, Rod knew better than to lash out at elders. He was more polite than that. Vireo turned to the Plussemblings.
"Take him away. I need to get my rest to rally my people tomorrow to find the Certus. I have no further need for this boy. I have no need for him at all," he told them as he walked away.
The Plussemblings knew they had to obey their leader. Whether they thought Rod was okay or not.
"Sorry man. Vireo's pretty stubborn."
"Don't know what kind of powers you have in you but I'll bet their sick."
Rod sighed deeply while groaning in disgust at the same time.
"Good luck. You're all definitely going to need it," he said.
"So what are you gonna do now?"
"Nothing else I can do. He told me to leave so I'm going to find my friends and hopefully find our way back to our world," Rod answered.
"Well good luck, dude."
"It was real sweet meeting an alien. A good one."
"Yeah. Not like the ones they show on TV."
"But I'm not an alien," said Rod.
"Well you're from another world. So technically you are."
"But hey, hang in there, bro. You're still okay in our books."
The Plussemblings showed Rod out of the hut. Before Rod stepped foot out, he saw that Vireo had one more of those clear orb-shaped containers he gave to the volunteers to contain the Certus within. Rod knew he had a whole world to explore in order to track down his friends and there could be a chance that he comes across their sacred object of positive energy. Even though Vireo insisted he didn't need Rod's help. But if Rod does find the Certus, he'd be able to prove himself to Vireo. And that sounded pretty satisfying to make someone Eat their words. He made sure no one was looking then took the container. The Plussemblings were seeing Rod off.
"You think you'll be alright on your own out there?"
"I'll manage. Somehow," Rod assured.
"If you say so."
"Catch you on the flipside, dude."
With that, Rod left the Plussembly village and took his first step into the outside, unfamiliar world that is the Polarity Zone. With his hammer in one hand and the container in the other. He looked at the empty container in his right hand.
"If I find that Certus or whatever it was called, I could help the Plussembly like I wanted to. By restoring the positive energy in the Polarity Zone. If I happen to locate it and return it," he thought.
He then looked at his hammer in the other hand.
"I can't believe Nerkoth's powers don't work here. I'm nothing but a guy with a hammer in his hand now," Rod lamented. He sighed and said, "Then I guess I have nothing to rely on but my own self."
He put his hammer away and tossed the container confidentally.
"Yeah, I'll show 'em. I can still be a hero even without the powers of one. That's not what makes a true hero," Rod assured himself.
He was ready to go out and find his friends. And maybe even the Certus.
"I'll find my friends and see if they're okay. But we're not going home yet," he stated.
Then he stopped and remembered something else. The fact that Duno Sabiz and his creature are running loose in the Polarity Zone. That wizard could be out there making sure the Plussembly doesn't recover the Certus.
"That Duno Sabiz guy could still be out here. But if I do find the Certus and return it, polarity will be balanced again. And then I might be able to use my powers again if that's restored. But for now, I'm completely helpless against him. I'll just have to avoid him as best as I can in the mean time," Rod figured.
And so it was settled. Rod will find his friends, the Certus, and dodge Duno if he ever encounters him. At least until the Certus is returned where it belongs. Then they'll see exactly how fierce the Plussembly claims that Duno is. Rod stepped into the night and set out to find his friends. A whole new adventure awaits.
All the way from the hills, Duno's monster, Leeds, let out a echoing roar which carried across the lands. And it will continue to do so for it's remaining four days.

Somewhere in the Polarity Zone, lies the source of positive energy of this world. As well as the source of life for the Plussembly. The Certus remains lost in this land burning with positive energy inside. But how long will it stay lost? And if found, who will find it first?
Questions are answered including how my friends and I entered the Polarity Zone, why Duno Sabiz did what did, how the Plussembly and Minustry formed a truce, why the object in their tower is so valuable, and the catastrophe that can occur from Duno's scheme. Offering to help the Plussembly in their time of need, I am denied when I fail to impress their elder Vireo. Instead, I decide to go out on my own and maybe even prove him wrong. It also appears that due to the uneven atmosphere of the Polarity Zone, all abilities and powers, including the Worthy's, are (literally) negated and useless here. As a result, my friends and I will have no choice to but to rely on our own powerless selves for this adventure while having to temporarily avoid Duno for now. And the adventure begins.
